For RNA-seq, total RNA was extracted from 4-d-old wild-type, Mpplta-81 and Mpplt-83 gemmalings grown on 1/2 Gamborg’s B5 medium with 1% sucrose, and from wild-type and pER8pro:3×FLAG-MpPLTa (lines #1 and #12) gemmalings cultured on 1/2 Gamborg’s B5medium with 1% sucrose for 2 d followed by another 2 d on 1/2 Gamborg’s B5 medium with 1% sucrose and 10 μM β-estradiol.
