Arabidopsis seeds were germinated on 1/2 MS medium with 1% sucrose at 22 ˚C under a 16-h light/8-h dark photoperiod. The first pair of rosette leaves were detached from 12-day-old seedlings and cultured on sucrose-free B5 medium at 22 ˚C under 24 h light conditions. RNA was extracted from the petioles of leaf explants at time 0 (t0), 6 h, 12 h, 1 d, 2 d, 3 d, 4 d, or 5 d after detachment. The genotypes analyzed in this study include: Col-0 (wild type), plt3-1plt5-2plt7-1, coi1-2, aba2-1, ein3eil1, npr1-6, slr-1, and arf6-4arf7-1arf19-1. The inhibitors treatment includes: 5 μM diphenyleneiodonium (DPI), 100 μM salicylhydroxamic acid (SHAM) and 5 μM naphthylphthalamic acid (NPA) treatment.
